Well, everyone has been reassigned and things look like they are starting to resemble some sort of government. But then again, looks can be quite deceiving, now can't they?
Trips have been put off, the signing of documents is apparently taking priority. The public wants to know what I'm going to do about the horridly high tax rate. What am I supposed to do? Adrienne had been working on lowering it since before the nation was a member of the repulsive United Nations. Maybe resigning from the UN would help us start to lower taxes, then again, I'm not even sure if that has anything to do with our high rates.
Dominique wants to propose opening of burlesque houses in the major Antarctic Oasis nations, and possibly in a few of the not so major ones. I don't see that happening. I'm pretty sure that CPESL is enough. However, I will listen to what she has to say and find out what she has planned to win them over. She also wants to make the Karmicarian burlesque houses bigger. Hmm...I think I'm starting to see why our taxes are so high.
I've sent Alex over to the DEFCON headquarters. Hope the boys there aren't too hard on her. I have no idea why she's the head of defense.
Tana isn't being herself these days. I thought she would be happy to be our primary UN Representative. Maybe it has something to do with...oh geez. What was that name again? I can't remember. Anyway, I should ask her what she wants and needs to make her job more enjoyable for her.
At any rate, it seems that my trip to OMGTKK has been delayed until further notice. Great, I was looking forward to a trip, even if it was for business and not pleasure. I wonder if the Federal Republic government has even been notified that I would be visiting?

...telephone transcript....
Ah my dear, I'm so glad to have caught you in your office. just wanted to let you know that i enjoyed having a drink with you after your sister's funeral. I would have loved to have stayed longer, but with a State Visit to plan, I simply had no time. one second....Baskim my boy,ome in.what is is....the trade delegation to Cobdenia?...tell them I have no idea what they are talking about...Now shooo! Sorry about that iabella. now where was I? oh yes, I thought to give you some pointers in government survival. First of all, be the only one who knows the rules and what is going on. As long as you are the only one who knows how something works, then you have nothing to fear from ambitious underlings. Trust me, I have some experience on tht account. I've had 6 attempts to remove me from my position, but survived them all, because Emperor Captian Spaulding I had no one with enough knowlage to replace me. second, keep your options open...it keeps political rivals and other nations on their toes. I follow the simple philosophy of "whatever it is i'm against it." I pretty much can do as isay or think, and my nations rivals either believe I'm incompetant, or leading them into a trap. either way they waste time, and my nations profits rom it. thirdly have fun. politics at this level is the greatest thing on earth. No other expience can come close. Where else can you *censored* another nation and get away with it? Tat my dear is international relations at this level. Well I've got to run. I've new ambassadors to place....one of my favorite activities.
Excelsior,
Lord Julius
Prime Minister
